How We Conduct Our Toddler Swimming Lessons
Toddler swim lessons can be conducted in both group settings and one-on-one sessions. Private condo pools are ideal, as they provide the space and tranquility that toddlers need to thrive and feel comfortable in the water.
Our primary focus at the beginning is to gently help the child become more independent from their parent. Once that foundation is set, we build water confidence and teach basic water movements through fun games and play. As they progress, they will move on to mastering essential skills in our “Learn to Swim” classes.
At this age, when many toddlers are already in nursery, we adopt a 75:40 approach in our classes, focusing 75% on learning and 40% on games. This balance helps keep the sessions both educational and enjoyable for them.
Once toddlers are able to communicate fully, we begin focusing on specific skill training, carefully tailored to each child’s individual learning pace. It’s important not to rush, as anything too advanced too soon could overwhelm or frighten them. Our experienced private swimming coaches are skilled at recognizing the right moment to introduce new challenges, ensuring a positive and confident learning experience.
